We had tickets to Knott’s that expired at the end of the year, so we snuck in a trip just in time. I like going around the holidays because of the decorations/shows, etc., but it is always so crowded, too. I was also disappointed that there was no Snoopy on Ice show on the day that we went.
One of the new rides that we went on was Voyage to the Iron Reef. We waited in an insanely long line, so I would recommend going as soon as you arrive in the park. However, our kids really like Side Winder, which is near the entrance, so we always find ourselves waiting in that line first (and it never seems to be running right when the park opens, which is frustrating!)
We watched the Kelly Rae Band while eating our lunch, which we brought from home.
I really wanted to try the only-at-Knott’s Starbucks boysenberry latte, but they ran out of boysenberry syrup! 🙁 We settled for boysenberry soft serve ice cream instead. The boysenberry flavor was pretty subtle, but it was a good portion, and we all enjoyed it.
This was our sight line for the Wild West Show. I guess it sounds like I am complaining a lot, but I’m just keeping it real-ha!
The kids do a pretty good job of keeping themselves occupied while waiting in line.
n was just tall enough to ride on a roller coaster he was not tall enough to ride on last year, so that was exciting.
For dinner, we ate at Portillo’s, which is just down the street. Can’t wait for the Porto’s to open in Buena Park!
