I have really been enjoying our summer vacation so far. It has been so nice to take a break from our busy scheduled lives. Taking a “breather” from the chaos of everyday life is a good practice for children, just as it is for adults. Zafooz cushions come are kid-friendly and designed to encourage peace, love and kindness in children.
Mindful Monkey & Lotus Ladybug
My kids found that Zafooz are perfect for cuddling, and offer a comfortable spot to rest. Sometimes it just takes a few minutes of “alone time” to collect one’s thoughts and feel re-energized to tackle the demands of the day.
Childhood today is often fueled by a go-go-go mentality which can lead to stress and health issues. Zafooz cushions encourage kids to take time to slow down and reflect, which can be beneficial to their overall well-being.
Zafooz are available for purchase at zafooz.com. Save 15% on your zafooz.com/shop purchase by using the promo code breatheBhappy. Offer valid until July 22, 2019

Since returning from our vacation, I have been turning my attention to cleaning and organizing our home. When I think about all that needs to be done, it feels overwhelming. However, I have been trying to break it down by concentrating on different zones. Today I am sharing a product that will help out with your refrigerator: Fridge Coasters.
Fridge Coasters are just what the name implies: “coasters” for your refrigerator. They are made from natural hard pressed wood pulp and printed with vegetable based inks. Fridge Coasters absorb drips and spills that inevitably occur in the refrigerator and eliminate moisture and odor. Once the coasters have done their job, they are easy to remove, recycle/compost and replace. They eliminate (or at least greatly reduce) the need to scrub refrigerator shelves and drawers.
Fridge Coasters come in a variety of styles and designs. The sight of these cheery liners make me smile every time I open my refrigerator. They also serve as motivation for me to keep my refrigerator organized and to toss the items that are past their prime.
Along with liners for the main shelves, there are also liners for the smaller side door compartments. My side doors were a little smaller than the liners, so I just gave them a trim with regular scissors to make them fit. Read more about Fridge Coasters and purchase them here.
I am excited when I find simple solutions to different household challenges. Let me know if you have found any products that help keep your home neat and organized!
One of my readers will win a set of Fridge Coasters in the design of their choice. Enter below!
We had an early flight to Orlando out of John Wayne airport. Can I just say how much I love SNA? So quick and easy!
We packed three carry-ons and checked one piece of luggage. Disney mailed us luggage tags beforehand since we were staying at a Disney property and we gave them our flight information beforehand. Once we checked the bag, it was delivered straight to our hotel room about three hours after our plane landed. So convenient!
Before we landed, I had everyone put on their Magic Bands. (Make sure you do not pack them in your checked luggage). After we landed, we followed the signs to the Magical Express shuttles. They scanned our Magic Bands (no other paper/receipt necessary) and directed us to the Pop Century/Art of Animation shuttle.
I checked my phone and I had a text that our room was ready, along with our room number. We were able to bypass the front check-in desk and go straight to our room. The Magic Band acted as our “key” to the room. Wow, these Magic Bands did feel like “magic”! And of course, the kids loved being able to open the room by themselves and had to take turns doing so.
The Pop Century rooms recently received a makeover, and I really liked the modern, tasteful decor. The carpetless floors made it feel cleaner as well. Although the rooms are not large, they utilize the space well. One neat feature is the desk that turns into a second queen-sized bed. I ended up sleeping on both beds during the course of our stay, and while the regular bed is more comfortable, the murphy bed is not bad.
Here are the kids demonstrating how the desk turns into a bed.
The bathroom had a good amount of storage space despite its small size.
I failed to take a picture of the cabinet to the left of the television/dresser. It contained a nice glass-front mini refrigerator, a coffee maker and additional shelving.
After settling in a bit, we ate dinner at the Pop Century cafeteria. This is n enjoying his kids’ salmon plate. We also shared a grilled chicken sandwich and chicken parmesan. The food was just ok, nothing special. However, this was the only meal we ate at the hotel (aside from a partial breakfast on our last day) so this was not a big deal for us.
After dinner we headed for the Hippy Dippy pool. Almost as soon as we arrived, it started to rain! Welcome to Florida in June, I guess. The pool was quite warm so the cool rain actually felt nice.
Our room was in the 60’s building. “Take a right at the giant Duncan yo-yo!” We were fairly close to the cafeteria and most importantly, the buses!
There is a nice lake right behind the hotel with a 1.3 mile running trail. This is D looking sad because he was not able to do much running during our vacation.
We saw the Skyliner project in progress. Eventually this will be a gondola system that connects Pop Century (along with some other hotels) with Epcot and Hollywood Studios.
Once the Skyliner project is completed (estimated Fall 2019), this will be another good reason to consider Pop Century!

We are back from a ten day vacation to Walt Disney World and a cruise to the Bahamas and still recovering! Whenever we travel, we are always prepared with plenty of snacks. Today I want to share about one of the snacks we brought with us: Fusions.
Fusions are unique trail mixes with elevated flavor profiles. For our plane ride, D and I brought the Hill Country BBQ Blend, which consists of maple bacon glazed pecans with bbq CrrrunchBites almonds. These snacks combine just the right amount of salty and sweet and are a good way to tide you over in between meals.
This is not your ordinary trail mix! The other interesting flavors include:
Bangkok Backpack Blend: candied ginger cashews, diced pineapple, spicy chili lime CrrrunchBites™ almonds and toasted coconut chips
Cabo Catamaran Crunch: kettle roasted chipotle almonds, sweet and salty cashews and mango-infused cranberries
Denali Mountain Mix: sweet and spicy glazed pecans, Fuji and Gala apple chips, tart Montmorency cherries and orange-infused cranberries
Fusions are Non-GMO Project Verified, Certified GF, OU Kosher and vegetarian. They come in handy resealable 3.25 oz bags, perfect for sharing! Fusions can be purchased on Amazon.

Part 1: Setting Up My Hair Profile
I recently had the opportunity to try out Formulate shampoo and conditioner formulated just for me. My Formulate story began with a simple online survey to determine which natural ingredients would best serve my hair goals and hair type.
Soon after setting up my profile, I received a package from Formulate with my customized shampoo and conditioner.
Love the chic black and white packaging!
I chose the “Freshly Squeezed” scent with tangerine and sweet orange.
Part 2: Experiencing Hair Detox
Once I received my package, I immediately incorporated the Formulate shampoo and conditioner into my hair routine. One difference I noticed was that the shampoo and conditioner felt thinner than what I was used to, and there were not as many suds. However, this was to be expected because they do not contain sulfates. I really liked the refreshing Freshly Squeezed orange scent (you can also choose how strong you want the scent to be.)
The first couple of weeks I used the Formulate shampoo and conditioner, I noticed that my hair felt very greasy/oily and “heavy”. After doing some research, I figured out that my scalp/hair was going through detox because my hair was used to shampoos and conditioners with sulfates and parabens. Sulfates strip oil from the hair, and the scalp has to over produce oil to compensate. Therefore, when I first started using the Formulate Shampoo my scalp was still overproducing oil and it was not being stripped away.
Part 3: Healthier Hair
I am pleased to report that after surviving “hair detox”, my hair now feels and looks healthier. It is less oily, and feels thicker and softer. I guess it just took time for my scalp and hair to adjust. The communication and customer service at Formulate are excellent, and they will work with you if your formula does not meet your expectations. If you would like to give it a try, set up your profile here today!
I am also excited to announce that one of my readers will win a set of Formulate Shampoo and Conditioner customized to his or her hair goals and hair type. Enter here, and good luck! Plus, everyone else who enters will receive a $5 off coupon.

I consider crafting one of my hobbies. Although I enjoy making things, craft supplies can become overwhelming. Deflecto is a company with a line of storage and organization solutions that are perfect for crafters. Here are my thoughts on some of the Deflecto products I received.
Expandable Marker Caddy
If you have a lot of pens or markers, the Expandable Marker Caddy keeps them all within easy reach. I like how there is a separate compartment for each pen. This case is extra tall which seems like wasted space for my normal size pens, but I suppose it would accommodate longer instruments such as paint brushes?
3-Drawer Organizer
I have been collecting washi tape, and this 3-Drawer Organizer is the perfect place to house my collection. I like that it is clear and that each drawer has three compartments. It could also be used for other small craft supplies as well.
Rotating Carousel Organizer
This Rotating Carousel Organizer acts as a lazy Susan for craft supplies. The different sizes of compartments fit nicely together and again, I like that they are clear.
Stackable Caddy Organizers
These Stackable Caddy Organizers are handy for organizing all of those odds and ends that do not take up much space but need to be separated. These Caddy Organizers can be stacked on top of a wheel base for mobility. There are also inserts that can be added on for extra interior compartments.
It is frustrating to craft when you cannot find the supplies you need. If you or a crafter you know needs some help organizing, these Deflecto products are worth considering. They can be found at Michaels and Target.
This month’s recipe cards are for After Sun Blend, Beachy Hair Spray, Hibiscus Skin Repair Bath Salts, and a Travel Buddy Roll On.
As someone who often suffers from motion sickness, I immediately made the Travel Buddy Roll On. It contains the Head Soothing Blend, Star Anise, and Almond Oil. With the contents from my original Bonus Box, I had everything I needed to make it. I will be sure to keep this Roll On handy in our car this summer!
Simply Earth is offering a great deal for my readers! When you start an Essential Oil Recipe Box Subscription, you will also receive a Big Bonus Box AND a free $40 gift card when you use the code LIMBYLIMFREE at checkout. (New subscribers only).
I am excited to announce that Simply Earth is also generously offering my readers a chance to win an Essential Oil Recipe Box plus a Big Bonus Box!

Have you heard of disc golf? I had heard of it and seen a couple of courses, but no one in our family had played it before. When Kestrel contacted me about reviewing a couple of their disc golf sets, I searched for a local course where we could play. I saw that there was a disc golf course located at Aldrich Park in the heart of the UC Irvine campus so we decided to check it out.
The Kestrel disc golf sets each come with three sizes of discs: a driver, mid-range and putter. These discs are made of high quality plastic and are Professional Disc Golf Association approved!
I like how these Kestrel sets come with their own bags. They make it easy to transport and keep the sets together at home.
At first we found a nice open field and practiced throwing the discs back and forth.
Next we started our hunt for the disc golf baskets, which look like this:
However, none were to be found. We even asked a couple of students along the way. I had D look up the course map on his phone and he figured out that this course did not use the baskets. Instead, their “holes” were light posts wrapped with different colors of tape.
The discs are designed for different distances, just as you use different clubs in golf. We ended up guessing where to start from and which target to aim at.
Even though we did not play an “official” game of disc golf, it was still a lot of fun. n wanted to keep on playing, but our parking time limit was up! Next time we will have to find a better marked course with real baskets. However, even if there are not any disc golf courses near you, I think it would also be easy to make your own course, since you really just need to set up targets.
Disc Golf is a great way to spend time together outdoors as a family. A Kestrel Disc Golf set would make a wonderful Father’s Day gift.

As you may recall, a couple of months ago I reviewed a snack called Mozaics. Today I am reviewing another product in the Deliciousness line called CrrrunchBites.
CrrrunchBites are whole roasted almonds wrapped in either a potato chip or rice cracker shell. They come in six delicious flavors:
BBQ Almonds
Chili Lime Almonds
Honey Mustard Almonds
Nacho Almonds
Ranch Almonds
Sea Salt Almonds
These CrrrunchBites are addictive! I am a big almond fan, and the crispy outer shell adds another layer of flavor that is really unique.
It would be a good idea to keep a bag of CrrrunchBites on hand for your next get together for guests to munch on. Don’t they look festive in this cupcake liner?
CrrrunchBites are also good for keeping at work because they are a low-sugar snack with protein and fiber that will help you get through the day. I know that D’s co-workers will all be asking for some when they see them at his desk. The resealable bag helps to keep them fresh.
Use discount code CRRRUNCH20 at checkout for 20% off any CrrrunchBites 6 pack on Amazon.
I am holding a giveaway where three of my readers will each win three bags of CrrrunchBites!

Japanese and Korean beauty products seem to be growing in popularity here in the United States. I have not had the chance to try too many, so I was excited to review the nomakenolife subscription box. Each month’s box contains a different selection of beauty products from both Japan and Korea.
Here are some of my thoughts regarding each item that I received in the May 2019 No Make No Life Box.
1. Patting Panda Tool (Japan)
When I first saw this tool I had no idea what it is for and the directions on the package are in Japanese. However, according to the little booklet that comes with the box, “An important part of Japanese and Korean skin care routines is using lotion and gently patting your skin until the product has been absorbed…”. Leave it to the Japanese to make this tool in the shape of a panda bear! Have you ever heard of such a tool?
2. CanMake Lip Tint Jam (Japan)
I like a good lip tint. The color is sheer and lasts longer than lipstick. The color of this one is called No. 4 Espresso Jam. This color is a little too orange for my taste, but I do like the consistency and wear of this tint.
3. Fiancee Fragrance Body Sheets (Japan)
These are sheets that can be used on your body (not face) to stay fresh and moisturized. Grapefruit is my all-time favorite scent, so I was excited about this one. I like how these would travel well.
4. Japanese Bath Powder (Japan, obvi!)
Love the packaging for this product. It would be so cute as a gift topper, don’t you think? I will have to take a bath soon, just to try it out.
5. Fluffy Cleansing Pad (Japan)
I like how this cleansing pad removes makeup and gently exfoliates your skin. It is also nice that it is washable so it can be reused.
6. Berrisom Horror Mask (Korea)
I must say, the packaging for this mask is not appealing to me. Why would I want to wear a mask that makes me look like I am in a horror movie? I guess it might be fun as a Halloween present. However, I felt like this mask does not go along with the whole vibe of the other products in this box.
7. Etude House Oh My Lash Mascara (Korea)
I am always looking for a good mascara. I have heard of Etude House, but have not tried any of their products. I like how this is a true black mascara, and that it is clump-free.
8. Speed Off Brush Cleaning Sheets (Japan)
These sheets use Alkaline electrolyzed water to help clean makeup brushes. I am sure I do not clean my makeup brushes often enough, so this is a good addition to my makeup drawer.
The nomakenolife subscription box offers a nice variety of products in one box. This box contained six Japanese products and 2 Korean products (I am not sure if it is usually more balanced between the two). The monthly box contains 8-9 items, and costs $35 a month with free shipping included. If you or someone you know is interested in trying out Japanese and Korean beauty products, it is worth trying out!
