Pinterest has become one of my new favorite websites. Surfing the web, I come across so many ideas, so it’s good to have them all in one place. It’s also fun to see what is inspiring my friends, too. I’m hoping more of my friends join… (hint hint).

Unfortunately, I have way more ideas than time. However, I did make time to make this last week:

I like how it turned out. And no, none of D’s boxers were used in the making of the pillow.

I received this book for Christmas 2009. However, it wasn’t until Christmas 2010 that I was able to actually make something from it. Actually, I made two things, one for k and one for n.

Meet Peggy & Steggie! D said they were the coolest things I’ve made yet. I’m itching to sew some more, but I think I still need to organize some more before I start a new project.

Another Christmas present k received was this lego set.

k and I had fun putting this horse stable together today (although it was somewhat difficult to keep n from destroying it). I was never too into Legos as a kid, but I can see myself getting into them, along with k + n, which may be dangerous.

It wasn’t too difficult. I found the pattern online and used the $4 pumpkin carving set from Target. Now I need to think of something to do for next year…
